MANGA! MANGA! MANGA!!!...[i'm taking a break]
ZealI know that you guys haven't noticed but I've taken a break from drawing for some time now. Okay, it's been probably like only 2 days and technically if none if you count doodling but I haven't drawn seriously for which has felt like forever, so there!
Anyways, I feel like I'm in a slump so I took a break.
I caught up with my manga reading though!
I was more than 200 chapters behind with Eyeshield 21 and compared to that only like 100 for Katekyo Hitman Reborn. xD It's not the first time I've gone overload with manga last summer it was Naruto and Hana Yori Dango. Man, I feel like a stupid otaku, waaaay to obsessed!
If the manga's really good you don't get sick of reading chapter after chapter and your excitement just increases after every page. It's also great to watch a mangaka grow, if you read all their chapters at once, you can instantly see how they've grown in their art. It's harder to take notice of that if you progress through chapters slowly. So I guess there is some advantage to reading like a zillion chapters in a day, rather than reading a new chapter every week.
Boy, do I love shounen manga!!!!
It's just so cool and awesome! Inspiring too! I almost want to have my own mafia now because of KHR and I have the sudden urge to train for football because of Eyeshield 21. But I know I can't do those things so I'll try to make great mangas like those instead. Compared to shoujo manga, shounen manga kinda sparks an urge in me to be do my best, and I sink into the aspect of the concept and art... where as in shoujo manga, all I think about is who will end up with who and if the dude will fall for the chick and crap like that.
Which is why I like shounen manga more than shoujo
don't get me wrong I absolutely love shoujo manga and it definitely has its good points

xD I read everything online so my eyes were burning after I was done. It was probably because half of the time my face was glued to the screen. OTL
You should really catch up on it! I love how that manga always surprises me at the last minute

yeah for some reason it also gets me in a I CAN DO ANYTHING kinda mood. its great. Have you ever read Dogs? its a pretty good manga, and the style is AMAZING. i recommend for a style inspiration
oh and Naruto style is really hard...
